Costume competition
Kids await the costume judging at the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce before hitting the trail of stores and businesses in downtown Holmes Beach for treats. The trail also included businesses in Anna Maria and Bradenton Beach this year.
Participants in the Canine Costume Contest and Pet Corral hosted by the newspaper during the Trail of Treats line up for the judges. They collected prizes from event co-sponsors Perks 4 Pets and All Fur Love Grooming.
