• Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies issued two warnings Aug. 2 to truck drivers using Spring Avenue to reach Bay Boulevard from Gulf Drive.
The MCSO report stated both drivers said they were making a delivery to a restaurant in the pier area. The drivers were advised that they would receive a ticket if found using Spring Avenue again.
• A domestic disturbance was reported Aug. 3 at 11:45 p.m. at a Hardin Avenue residence. The report said neither party wanted to pursue any police action.

Bradenton Beach
• A 44-year-old Bradenton woman reported a sexual assault around 10:30 p.m. July 26 in the 300 block of Gulf Drive North.
• The theft of a .40-caliber Baretta semi-automatic handgun was reported Aug. 4 from a vehicle parked at the Leffis Key parking lot. The incident occurred Aug. 1 at around 2 p.m., but the owner of the vehicle said he waited until he had the gun’s serial number from his father before reporting the theft to police. The man’s father is the owner of the gun. Several other vehicles at Leffis Key were burglarized between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. the same day, police reported.
• A new 42-inch flat-screen television was reported stolen July 30 from a rental unit in the 2200 block of Gulf Drive North. The television had just been installed, according to the complex manager, and the unit had only been vacant for a short period before the burglary was discovered.
