Jason Syrek, a 40-year-old former Holmes Beach resident was sentenced Nov. 4 in U.S. District Court in Detroit to six years in a federal prison and ordered to pay $17.6 million in restitution for health care fraud and false tax returns.
Syrek pleaded guilty to the crided for this report.
