The Florida Highway Patrol arrested a 36-year-old Holmes Beach woman after a traffic stop at U.S. Route 301 and University Parkway for a felony cocaine charge and driving while impaired.
State troopers allegedly observed Daniella Lucia Mannino Dec. 26 driving northbound on Route 301 in a vehicle with equipment violations. She was reported weaving within a lane and making an improperly wide U-turn at the intersection in Sarasota.
Mannino allegedly failed field sobriety tests. After a search, troopers found a plastic bag containing cocaine in her coat pocket.
She refused to provide a breath sample and was booked into the Manatee County jail. She posted $2,500 bond and was released the same day.
Mannino’s court arraignment is set for Friday, Jan. 23, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
