The Florida Department of Transportation issued the following alert for motorists driving in the area:
• SR 789/Gulf Drive at the Longboat Pass Drawbridge: Crews are working on the bridge. Expect intermittent north and southbound lane closures 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Friday, June 26, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
• SR 64/Manatee Avenue between 15th Street West and State Road 789/Gulf Drive: Crews will install detectable warning on curb ramps. Expect temporary sidewalk closures through the end of June.
• SR 684/Cortez Road between U.S. 41 and State Road 789/Gulf Drive: Crews will install detectable warning on curb ramps. Expect temporary sidewalk closures through the end of June.
