Two 17-year-olds from Valrico were issued alcohol ordinance violations.
A cooler of beer, including five open cans, was found in their backseat.
HBPD officers were on patrol June 5 and found them in a vehicle with its motor running in the 5100 block of Fifth Avenue in Holmes Beach.
Both juveniles blew over the 0.02 blood alcohol limit for persons under 21. The driver denied ownership of the cooler.
Both were fined $75 and their parents were called for a ride home, according to police reports.
