May 26, Galati Yacht Sales, 900 S. Bay Blvd., burglary and criminal mischief. Burglars stole items valued at more than $4,900 overnight May 25-26 from several yachts. Fishing equipment, including Torsa reels and video equipment, cigars, liquor and flat-screen televisions were reported missing. Damages of less than $200 to vessels also were reported.
May 31, 500 block of Blue Heron Drive, information. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy noticed an unsecured residence with a for-sale sign in the yard. The doors were locked and key holder called. No suspicious activity was found.
June 1, 200 block of Magnolia Avenue, civil dispute. MCSO responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and determined it was a nonviolent dispute about an eviction.
June 1, 400 block of Magnolia Avenue, found property. MCSO was dispatched for a bicycle left in front of a dumpster for more than a week. After determining it had not been stolen, the bicycle was taken for safekeeping by the MCSO.
June 7, 400 block of Poinsettia Road, domestic disturbance. Two family members were arguing but there were no signs of violence observed or reported.

Bradenton Beach
June 8, Circle K, 2513 Gulf Drive North, retail theft. A 12-pack of Bud Light was stolen by a man who jumped into the passenger side of a 2003 Black GMC. The vehicle headed north and was last seen heading east across the Manatee Avenue Bridge. Police investigators obtained a store video documenting the theft.
June 8, 100 block of Seventh Street North, Baker Act. Police responded to a disturbance involving a man who had been drinking and threatening to take Xanax and Cymbalta. Officers were required to subdue the intoxicated man, who became combative when the police arrived. The aggressor suffered injuries to his legs in the struggle. He was transported to Blake Medical Center where his blood alcohol content measured 0.250, more than three times the legal limit.
June 9, The Drift Inn, 120 Bridge St., disorderly conduct. A 45-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a manager reported he was opening the door repeatedly, screaming obscenities and dancing in front of windows. He continued to loiter and ask customers to buy him a beer. Another witness said the man was screaming and grabbing himself in a lewd fashion. He was transported to the Manatee County jail.
June 10, Bridge Tender Inn, 135 Bridge St., disorderly intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance and came upon a 73-year-old man who slurred his speech, smelled like alcohol and could not maintain his balance. Witnesses told police he was threatening restaurant/bar employees with a knife. The man gave a breath sample that measured 0.214 blood alcohol content, more than twice the legal limit. He was arrested and transported to Manatee County jail.

Holmes Beach
May 31, 3100 block of Gulf Drive, license. A Holmes Beach Police Department officer observed a 32-year-old Ruskin motorist and front passenger not wearing seatbelts and initiated a traffic stop. The officer determined the driver’s license was suspended and she had knowledge of a prior suspension. The officer issued two seatbelt citations and a summons for DWLS with knowledge.
June 5, 600 block of Crestwood, theft. A 5-foot aluminum dog crate valued at $700 was stolen from a yard.
