June 18, 9800 block of Gulf Drive, lost trash can.

Bradenton Beach

June 12, 600 block of Gulf Drive, Cortez Beach, vehicle burglary. A break-in occurred through a car window. A purse, wallet, glasses, credit cards and $20 were stolen. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $250.

June 14, 200 block of Bay Drive North, domestic disturbance. Police responded to a man and woman having a verbal dispute that became physical. Police couldn’t determine the aggressor due to conflicting stories. The officer transported the man to his brother’s residence in Holmes Beach. No charges were filed.

Holmes Beach

June 17, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, warrants. Officers on patrol found a 26-year-old Port Charlotte man and two women with beer on the beach. A crime-database search turned up two out-of-county warrants for probation violations. Police arrested the man and transported him to Manatee County jail.

June 18, 6809 Holmes Blvd., drugs. Three 19-year-old females from Palmetto, Ellenton and Bradenton were found at a city park after 2 a.m. When police arrived at the park, two were in a vehicle and a third was coming out of the bushes with a box of marijuana. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and found marijuana, rolling papers and glass pipes. The women were arrested for possessing less than 20 grams of the controlled substance and paraphernalia and were transported to the Manatee County jail.
