June 18, 400 block of Pine Avenue, found property. A debit card was turned into the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office after being found on the road. MCSO placed the property into a locker for safekeeping.
June 25, Roser Memorial Community Church, 512 Pine Ave., trespass. While conducting a building check, a deputy found a man sleeping in a concealed location on the ground. The MCSO contacted the church’s after-hours representative, who issued a trespass warning.
July 2, Sandbar Restaurant, 100 Spring Ave., domestic disturbance. An argument was reported between an employee and her spouse at the restaurant. The spouse left before the MCSO arrived.
July 5, 200 block of Pine Avenue, found property. A debit card was turned into the MCSO. The office placed it into safekeeping.
July 6, 500 block of Spring Avenue, domestic disturbance. A deputy responded to an argument and deputy interviewed the parties involved. He observed no signs of violence.

Bradenton Beach
July 5, 1500 Gulf Drive S., license. Three notices to appear in court were issued to a 33-year-old man from Mexico driving south through the city in a truck. The driver handed a Bradenton Beach police officer a Mexican Consular card and passport. The citations were issued for no vehicle registration, attaching a tag not assigned and driving without a license.
July 12, Coquina Park, 2650 Gulf Drive S., warrant. At midnight, while police were clearing out the park, a BBPD officer observed a vehicle heading north at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop and arrested a man on felony warrants out of Manatee County. He was transported to the Manatee County jail.
July 12, Longboat Pass Bridge, 2300 Gulf Drive S., criminal mischief. The bridgetender requested BBPD check his vehicle for vandalism. The officer observed three flat tires and small punctures in the tire sidewalls. Police reported no suspects.

Cortez
June 30, Newman’s Corner, 10117 Cortez Road W., battery. A woman allegedly attacked another woman during an argument about their neighbors being too loud, resulting in a cut to the victim’s head. The alleged aggressor fled the scene. The victim called 911. MCSO deputies found the suspect a few blocks away and arrested her for battery.
July 7, Paradise Bay motel, 4406 102nd St. W., domestic disturbance. The MCSO was called to assist management in removing two people who were arguing from the motel. There were no allegations of physical violence and none observed. When the deputy arrived, a man had left the scene. A woman subsequently packed and left.
Cortez is policed by the MCSO.
Holmes Beach
July 7, 400 block of Clark Drive, warrant. Holmes Beach Police Department served a warrant from Hardee County on a 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman. She was booked at the Manatee County jail and released after posting a $50,000 bond.
July 7, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, trespass and disorderly intoxication. Numerous children were present when a 48-year-old homeless man began making random, vulgar statements in public. The man was issued a trespass warning that he ignored. HBPD arrested and transported the man to the Manatee County jail.
July 11, 600 block of Manatee Avenue, habitual traffic. A 28-year-old Tampa woman was arrested after an HBPD officer observed her driving without a seat belt while wearing earbuds. The officer conducted a traffic stop and determined she had four previous convictions for driving while her license was suspended, was on a 60-month revocation and had been deemed a habitual traffic offender.
