Oct. 17, 200 block of Pine Avenue, battery. While walking on the east side of the street, an MCSO deputy observed a woman walking on the west side run, jump onto a man’s back and strike his head. The man rolled the attacker to the ground. The deputy ran across the road and separated the two. He also reported both persons appeared intoxicated. The woman was arrested and transported to Manatee County jail.

Holmes Beach
Oct. 19, 100 block of 52nd Street, disorderly intoxication/paraphernalia. The Holmes Beach Police Department arrested a 19-year-old Riverview man for fighting with a man and possessing drug paraphernalia. Upon his arrest, the officer found the suspect possessing a marijuana pipe, scale and plastic bags.
Oct. 25, 600 block of Manatee Avenue, marijuana possession. A man with an open container of alcohol, marijuana in a Mason jar and a plastic bag, grinder, small scale and pipe told police they were his. He was arrested for possessing 3.2 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
