March 9-10, 100 block of Gull Drive, information. BB-gun pellets zinged across the canal, hit a lawn chair and caused damage to a window. The shooter told a Manatee County Sheriff’s deputy he and friends were aiming at a target in his yard. He offered to pay for the damage and the victim agreed.
March 13, 100 block of Tern Drive, runaways. Three juveniles were reported missing at 10 a.m. One was found immediately and two others later in the day.
March 13, Anna Maria City Pier, 100 S. Bay Blvd, lost person. A 74-year-old woman who went missing while visiting Anna Maria Island with her family turned up in Bradenton Beach. Several deputies searched the beach and interviewed trolley drivers. She was reunited with family after a trolley driver told the MCSO he’d dropped her off at Bridge Street.

Bradenton Beach
March 21, Gulf Drive Cafe, 900 Gulf Drive N., theft. A server’s purse was stolen from a waitress station. The purse was found under a dumpster near the restaurant but a driver’s license and other identification cards were missing.
March 23, 100 block of 12th Street, property damage. A construction crane damaged five 18-inch pavers. The operator advised police he’d contact the victim and replace the pavers.

Cortez
March 17, H&H Marina, burglary. A Yamaha 150-hp outboard motor was stolen off a boat stored at H&H Marina.

Holmes Beach
March 12-13, Publix Super Market, 3900 E. Bay Drive, theft. Three suspects were caught on camera stealing deli chicken and other items totaling $20. One suspect returned to the store the next day and offered to pay the bill.
March 13, Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, 4000 Gulf Drive, theft. A purse was taken off a table after a woman forgot it there. Credit cards were stolen and used at area stores.
March 16, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, theft. An action camera, tri-pod, iPhone and shoes left unattended on the beach were stolen. They were valued at $740.
