April 11, 400 block of Magnolia Avenue, burglary. A man reported someone broke into his unoccupied home, but nothing was stolen.
April 17, 800 block of North Shore Drive. A Sarasota couple was boating near Passage Key when witnesses saw the man push and hit the woman. A witness assisted the woman off the boat. The man was arrested at a boat ramp in Bradenton and transported to jail, where he posted $500 bond and was released.

Bradenton Beach
April 23, Historic Bridge Street Pier, 200 Bridge St., trespass warning. A homeless man was trespassed for allegedly sleeping on a bench. He was warned not to return to the property.
April 24, 400 block of Church Avenue, resisting without violence. A Bradenton Beach police officer was dispatched for a disturbance and arrested a Bradenton man for failing to cooperate with his arrest. When the officer arrived at the BridgeTender Inn restaurant, 135 Bridge St., the alleged male aggressor fled in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. The officer stopped the vehicle a few blocks away, where the man acted belligerent and began yelling obscenities. As the officer began to arrest the man, he struggled against being handcuffed. Police pepper-sprayed him and the man was arrested and transported to jail. He was released on a $500 bond, pending a May 26 court date.
April 26, 100 block of Seventh Street South, domestic battery. A dispute ensued between a man and his girlfriend. A coffee table was turned over in the disturbance. No injuries were reported. The man was deemed the aggressor, arrested and transported to jail. He was released pending a May 31 court date.
