Anna Maria
April 22, 500 block of South Drive, domestic battery. A man, allegedly came home intoxicated, threw items off a deck, yelled obscenities and pushed a woman who lived there with him. A request for his arrest was issued and he was arrested at the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office substation in Anna Maria. He was transported to Manatee County jail and was released on $1,000 bond, a pre-trial services agreement and no-contact order.

Bradenton Beach
May 1, 1300 block of Cortez Beach, trespass. A 51-year-old Bradenton Beach man was arrested for trespass after returning to the place he was issued a trespass warning the night before. Bradenton Beach police responded to a call about two men drinking beer in public, took the 51-year-old into custody and transported him to the Manatee County jail.

Cortez
April 22, Few-Miller Dock, 4531 123rd St. W., trespass warning. A man was reported returning to the community dock after being told to leave. In the presence of a Manatee County sheriff’s deputy, the man was warned not to return by an agent of the property.
April 28, 4400 block of 124th Street West, burglary. After occupants upstairs heard a noise, a resident went downstairs and saw a man reaching his arm around a door, attempting to unsecure it. The resident yelled and the suspect retreated. The resident chased the man into the backyard across the street and tackled him. The suspect told the resident he had a gun, and the resident stood up. The suspect fled.

Holmes Beach
April 26, 7000 block of Palm Drive, burglary. Upon arriving home, a resident called police after noticing a side door open, a hole in a bathroom door and an iPad that had been disturbed. Nothing was reported taken. Holmes Beach police took fingerprints and canvassed the area.
April 26, 100 block of 74th Street, burglary. Two bottles of vodka, seven bottles of wine and four bottles of Champagne were reported missing after an unknown person or persons entered a residence. Fingerprints and shoe prints were taken.
May 1, Manatee County Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, indecent exposure. A 19-year-old Polk City man was arrested for fondling himself at 7:07 p.m. in the parking lot between two cars. He was transported to the Manatee County jail and released on $500 bond, pending a court date.
May 2, 5200 block of Gulf Drive, marijuana. A 19-year-old Riverview woman was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after an officer clocked her vehicle traveling 43 mph in a 25-mph zone. After stopping the vehicle, the officer noticed an odor of marijuana on the driver and searched the vehicle. He found marijuana weighing 2.2 grams and a marijuana pipe. She was taken into custody and transported to jail. She posted $1,000 bond and was released.
