Holmes Beach police pulled over a 28-year-old motorist for not wearing her safety belt and dark window tint and found marijuana and paraphernalia.
Melanie Erickson of Bradenton was issued a notice to appear for possessing 4.9 grams of the drug and paraphernalia and driving while on a suspended license — both misdemeanors.
The HBPD report states Erickson started to cry after police began measuring the vehicle’s window tint.
She allegedly told police she didn’t have a valid license and led officers to a bag containing the marijuana, needles, pipe, rolling papers, THC candy and a grinder.
Erickson was ticketed for the window tint and seat belt infractions.
Erickson’s arraignment is set for at 8:25 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
