Twelve months probation was the sentence handed down to a Parrish man who pleaded no contest to driving impaired in Holmes Beach.
Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court found Eric Buehler, aka Eric Bueler, 46, guilty of driving under the influence.
In addition to the DUI probation order filed in May, Judge Charles Sniffen suspended Buehler’s driver’s license for 11 months and ordered his vehicle impounded for 10 days and use of an alcohol-detection device in the vehicle for six months.
Buehler was stopped Feb. 24 by a Holmes Beach police officer for driving more than 100 mph in a 45-mph zone and arrested him for driving impaired.
Buehler refused a blood-alcohol test, according to the HBPD report.
Buehler must attend a DUI program, including evaluation and treatment if deemed necessary, complete a victim impact panel, serve 50 hours of public work and pay more than $1,941 in costs and fines.
