A woman arrested in Holmes Beach was sentenced to 12-months probation.
Amber Marie Watts, 38, of Georgia, pleaded no contest Aug. 22 to a driving-under-the-influence charge.
Twelfth Circuit Judge Mark D. Singer adjudicated her guilty and sentenced the probation with credit for one day of jail time served.
He ordered the DUI counter-attack program, requiring evaluation and treatment, if necessary.
The judge also ordered her driver’s license suspended for six months, a 10-day vehicle impoundment, $2,291 in costs and fines and 50 hours of public service work, allowing for a monetary buy-out in lieu of public service.
Watts was arrested in October 2015 after Holmes Beach police observed her driving erratically on Gulf Drive near 74th Street.
