Oct. 13, 500 block of Spring Avenue, information. A motorist who was turning around in a parking lot ran over a concrete pole that became lodged under her car. The damage to the pole was estimated at $50.
Oct. 17, 800 block of South Bay Boulevard, boater assist. A Manatee County sheriff’s deputy assisted a 61-year-old Lakeland man in the early morning hours who had lost his way in the waterway. Minor first aid was administered and family was called to picked him up.
Oct. 20, 10005 Gulf Drive, found property. A small generator was brought to the MCSO substation after BayFest. The Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce assisted in returning the property to its owner.

Bradenton Beach
Oct. 25, Island Time Bar and Grill, 111 Gulf Drive S., and Circle K, 103 Gulf Drive S., trespass, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct. A 39-year-old man, listed as homeless, was trespassed from two businesses. At Island Time, he kicked and broke a table. The man was arrested twice within 24 hours and transported to the Manatee County jail.
Oct. 28, BridgeWalk Resort, 106 Bridge St., trespass. A 46-year-old homeless man was issued a warning for trespassing at the motel.
Oct. 29, Sunset Terrace, 2312 Gulf Drive N., theft. A bicycle left locked to a vehicle carrier was reported stolen.
Oct. 30, 100 block of Bridge Street, domestic battery. Bradenton Beach police officers observed two men and a woman fighting. They were arguing about money when the woman’s 28-year-old son pushed the other man to the ground and kicked him. Police detained the aggressor, who remained combative. An officer pepper-sprayed the man and arrested and transported him to the Manatee County jail.
Oct. 30, 200 Bridge Street, Baker Act. A 911 caller reported a man who claimed he wanted to cut his wrists. BBPD responded and took the 27-year-old male to a medical facility.

Holmes Beach
Oct. 25, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, trespass/ordinance violation. A 56-year-old woman was found sleeping in a changing stall. Police issued her a trespass warning and a notice to appear in court for camping in violation of a city ordinance.
Oct. 26, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, trespass/ordinance violation. Police found a 23-year-old man sleeping on a trolley bench. He was told to pack up his belongings, warned for trespass and issued a violation for camping.
