Nov. 11, Crosspointe Fellowship, 8605 Gulf Drive, information. A Manatee County sheriff’s deputy found a lollipop containing fentanyl citrate — an opiate anesthetic — and packaged the item for disposal.
Nov. 15, 200 block of Willow Avenue, open door. Deputies responded to a call about an open door, found it open but nothing suspicious after checking the property. The MCSO was unsuccessful in attempts to contact the property owner.
Nov. 18, 200 block of Periwinkle Plaza, disturbance. A deputy responded to a domestic call and determined it was only a verbal argument. There was no sign or report of physical violence.
Nov. 18, 100 Sycamore Avenue at the Gulf of Mexico, information. While on patrol, a deputy found a marijuana pipe with a green leafy substance and secured the items for disposal.

Bradenton Beach
Nov. 9, Drift Inn, 120 Bridge St., battery. A woman reported being slapped at the bar.
Nov. 18, 100 block of Bridge Street, Marchman Act. Dispatched to a call about a naked man bothering people and businesses at 2:16 p.m., two police officers found a 22-year-old man with his pants on, but no shirt and shoes. The man became irate with the officers, who determined he could not care for himself due to substance impairment. He was transported to a medical facility.
Nov. 21, Runaway Bay, 1801 Gulf Drive N., burglary. A resident reported a 46-inch flat-screen TV, valued at $530, and two bottles of wine stolen between Oct. 16 and Nov. 21. The suspect left candy and beer in the refrigerator. The resident also reported a scratch on the door frame next to the door handle, which a police officer confirmed.

Cortez
Nov. 16, Holiday Cove RV Resort, 11900 Cortez Road W., criminal mischief. A ground lighting fixture was reported smashed. The complainant told the MCSO two unknown persons used a two-by-four. A patrol request was made for the area.

Holmes Beach
Nov. 12, Harrington House Bed & Breakfast Inn, 5626 Gulf Drive, battery. A man from New York was arrested for slapping a woman. Holmes Beach police officers found the couple arguing in the driveway. Based on a witness affidavit and the victim’s red, swollen face, the officers took the man into custody and transported him to the Manatee County jail.
Nov. 17, Jessie’s Island Store, 5424 Marina Drive, theft. Police arrested a 50-year-old man, who was observed stealing a 24-ounce can of Bud Light, valued at $2.99. The man dropped the can when the store manager confronted him outside the store. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Manatee County jail.
