Bradenton Beach
Feb. 13, Circle K, 103 Gulf Drive N., battery. Bradenton Beach police arrested a 37-year-old Bradenton woman who fled after she pulled the hair and scratched the neck of a woman while in the back seat of a parked vehicle. A witness told police the woman was upset about a Facebook post. Officers found the suspect a block north, waiting for a trolley.

Holmes Beach
Feb. 3, 5500 block of Gulf Drive, theft. Two chairs and a table valued at $1,200 were reported stolen from the outdoor deck of a rental home. Police believe they were taken sometime after Jan. 27.
Feb. 3, 500 block of Manatee Ave., criminal mischief. A Holmes Beach police officer was driving eastbound when he noticed a Honda CRV disabled on the roadside. The officer also heard something hit his police truck and observed glass in the road. The officer stopped and spoke to a couple from Illinois who’d been traveling in the CRV. The pair said they were shaken but OK after a rock shattered a window in the vehicle. The rock was found in the westbound lane.
Feb. 3, 4000 block of Fifth Avenue, trespass. An unauthorized entry into a rental home was reported by a rental agent. Two backpacks, two bikes, a marijuana pipe, snacks, a school identification card and two pairs of shoes were left behind. The property was seized. Fingerprints were collected.
Feb. 3, 400 block of 72nd St., disturbance. After police were dispatched, an officer met with an intoxicated man who told police he and his wife argued about someone staying at their house. The man said his wife had left with the dogs.
Feb. 16, 3900 block of East Bay Drive, bicycle theft. A woman reported to police she left her lavender Beach Cruiser unlocked at noon Feb. 14 behind Publix Super Market. When she returned for the bike an hour later, it was gone.
