Top Notch Week 1: Gone fishin’ Holly Avedisian of Bradenton wins the first week of The Islander’s Top Notch photo contest with her image of a black skimmer and its meal at Lido Beach in Sarasota. Avedisian receives an Islander “More-than-a-mullet wrapper” T-shirt and is a finalist in the contest, which offers a grand prize of $100 from The Islander and an assortment of gift certificates from participating advertisers. The next deadline is noon, Friday, June 28. Rules and deadlines are posted at islander.org.
