Aug. 28, 800 block of North Shore Drive, noise. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a noise complaint at 12:30 a.m. The deputy issued an ordinance violation for noise.

Aug. 28, 200 block of South Bay Boulevard, noise. The MCSO received a complaint about loud music at about 11:50 a.m. A deputy responded and informed the occupants of a home about the city’s noise ordinance. They had thought their music was allowed until 10 p.m.

Aug. 29, 100 block of Palmetto Avenue, trespass. The MCSO received a complaint about a man staying on the porch of a property listed for sale. A deputy checked the area.

Aug. 29, 400 block of Spring Avenue, near drowning. The MCSO received an emergency call about a child who fell in a residential swimming pool. The child was alert and breathing.

Aug. 30, 200 block of South Bay Boulevard, noise. The MCSO received a complaint about loud noise from a party at 10 p.m. No other information was available.

Bradenton Beach

Aug. 29, Daiquiri Deck, 107 Bridge St., trespass. A Bradenton Beach police officer was dispatched to the bar, where a man reportedly refused to wear a face mask. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a manager, who asked for the customer’s removal. The officer issued the man a trespass warning and waited for him to leave.

Aug. 29, Pig Out Cortez BBQ, 12012 Cortez Road W., trespass. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a call from the restaurant manager stating an employee was behaving erratically. Upon arrival, the deputy found a man screaming at other employees. The deputy trespassed the man at the manager’s request.

Holmes Beach

Aug. 27, 6500 block of Flotilla Drive, theft. A bicycle was reported stolen from a carport.

Aug. 29, 100 block of 52nd Street, alcohol. A Holmes Beach Police officer observed people near a parked vehicle drinking alcoholic beverages. Police cited the vehicle owner for possession of an alcoholic beverage near a public road.

Aug. 29, 100 block of 51st Street, assist. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office contacted HBPD about a missing juvenile tracked to Holmes Beach via social media. HBPD located the juvenile, whose parents were contacted and took custody at the police department at city hall.

Aug. 29, 200 block of 68th Street, found property. An officer responded to a report of a gun left at a rental property. The gun was cleared and police contacted the owner. HBPD held the weapon for retrieval by the owner.

Aug. 29, 100 block of 47th Street, recovered stolen vehicle. A resident received a notice from a towing company about the recovery of his stolen Jet Ski. However, the man did not know the watercraft was missing, as he had been out of state. He contacted the HBPD to file a report.

Aug. 30, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, camping. A worker at the public beach alerted an officer to a person sleeping in a changing station. The officer woke the person and issued a notice to appear for camping.
