Oct. 4, 700 block of North Shore Drive, noise. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint about people yelling, cursing and being loud outside by a swimming pool. A deputy issued a citation for violating the noise ordinance.
Oct. 5, 400 block of Pine Avenue, noise. The MCSO responded to a complaint about loud noise — “people yelling and carrying on in the hot tub” — at about 2:15 a.m. The deputy cited a renter for violating the city’s noise ordinance.

Oct. 6, Circle K, 103 Gulf Drive S., trespass. A pair of patrolling Bradenton Beach police officers noticed three people sleeping under the business. The officers trespassed the trio from the property at a manager’s request, and they left without issue.

Sept. 30, Cortez Kitchen, 4528 119th St. W., domestic disturbance. A woman called the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to report that her boyfriend beat her before pushing her out of his vessel in the Intracoastal Waterway and driving off. The caller described the man, but MCSO officers could not locate him.

Sept. 30, Anchor Inn, 3001 Gulf Drive, battery, trespass. A Holmes Beach police was called to a fight at the bar, where an officer determined one person struck another in the face and chest. The victim did not prosecute. The instigator was trespassed from the property.
Sept. 30, 600 block of Manatee Avenue, criminal mischief. An owner reported political signs vandalized on his vacant property.
Oct. 1, Anchor Inn, 3001 Gulf Drive, Marchman Act. An HBPD officer was dispatched to the bar because someone was causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer saw a vehicle in the roadway, left in “drive” with the driver-side door open. The officer determined the vehicle belonged to a person in the bar. Emergency management services transported the individual to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton and the vehicle was towed.
Oct. 1, 5600 block of Marina Drive, Alcohol, Marchman Act. An officer was called to a report of a person unconscious on a bus stop bench. Upon waking the individual, the officer determined the person was intoxicated and was holding an empty bottle of vodka. The person was transported to Blake and issued a notice to appear for public consumption of alcohol.
Oct. 3, 12000 block of Manatee Avenue West, traffic, possession. An officer observed a motorist run a flashing red light, then accelerate to 50 mph in a 35-mph zone. Upon stopping the driver, the officer determined the person did not own the vehicle and had a suspended license, as well as no registration or proof of insurance. The officer also found 1 gram of cocaine when searching the driver’s wallet. The person was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail.
Oct. 4, 200 block of 72nd Street, noise. An officer was dispatched to a rental for a noise complaint. The officer took a decibel reading from the complainant’s property line, which registered excessive noise. The tenant where the noise originated was cited.
Oct. 4, 300 block of 64th Street, noise. Two HBPD officers were called to a noise complaint, where a decibel reading 10 feet from the property line confirmed the noise was excessive and the renter was cited.
Oct. 4, 4000 block of Fifth Avenue, noise. An officer responded to a complaint of loud music and talking in the pool area of a rental. The officer took a decibel reading 40 feet from the property line, determined the noise was excessive and the renter was cited.
