On Sunday, Nov. 8, Rosemary Griscom-Scanio, went to join her father Bennie, mother Antoinette, brother Benji “Bennie,” sister Marie and her husband Norm, the cats Que’Pasa and Bubba.
Born Aug. 3, 1950, in the old Bradenton hospital. An island girl her whole life. Spent her younger days in a playpen behind the checkout counter at the old IGA. Never did climb that damn tree at Anna Maria Elementary. A graduate of MHS class of ’68 and Florida State. Retired after 24 years in law enforcement. One of her many accomplishments was to take care of her husband Roy for 46 years. Rosemary’s wish is for you to go out, spend a little extra and “make a special memory.”
Before her passing, Rosemary said, “Love you all.”
