Checkpoint at AM city limit

Manatee County sheriff’s deputies assigned to the substation in Anna Maria set up an enforcement checkpoint Sept. 3 at the city line for Anna Maria and Holmes Beach at CrossPointe Fellowship — as Labor Day beachgoers began flooding the island.
