The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said red tide was reported at background concentrations in Manatee County.
The red tide organism, Karenia brevis, was not detected elsewhere in the state the week ending Jan. 16.
No reports of fish kills suspected to be related to red tide were received.
