Holmes Beach police are looking for suspects with regard to the brutal battery at 8:55 p.m. March 23 of Evan Purcell outside Anna Maria Elementary School in Holmes Beach.
HBPD has issued warrants for aggravated battery for Cameron Leron Evans, 18, of Sarasota, and John William Bartholow, 17, of Ellenton. A third juvenile also has been charged, but the name is not being released.
HBPD Lt. Brian Hall said in a March 30 news release that “due to the violent acts committed,” Evans and Bartholow are considered “a danger to the community.”
