Cortez Bridge/State Road 684: The Florida Department of Transportation will begin relocating utilities on the Cortez Bridge in mid-October from 123rd Street West in Cortez to Gulf Drive North in Bradenton Beach. The project is expected to continue into 2026. Motorists will experience lane closures, detours and side street closures 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday. A bike lane and sidewalk in Cortez also will be closed, requiring a detour. For more information, go to amiprojects.io.
