Nick Deau and Amanda Jaegers of Chicago were engaged to be married Sept. 15 on the Anna Maria City Pier. Friends of the Aldersons, who own Tyler’s Ice Cream in Cortez and on Longboat Key, Deau and Jaegers visit often and love the area. She said “yes,” and an ice cream celebration followed.
