Key Royale Drive speed tables installed

Motorists drive Nov. 6 over a speed table in the 500 block of Key Royale Drive in Holmes Beach. The city hired Bradenton-based Superior Asphalt to install two speed tables Oct. 31 in an attempt to address speeding concerns on the stretch of road that leads to the Key Royale Bridge. Police Chief Bill Tokajer told The Islander Nov. 5 that the city had yet to receive any complaints about the speed tables and would continue to monitor speed along the corridor.
