Sandra E. Coyle
Sandra E. Coyle, 90, of Bradenton, died Dec. 11, 2025.
She was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Kansas City, Kansas, as the youngest daughter of Edwin B. Coyle Sr. and Florence (Gilliford) Coyle.
She graduated with the class of 1952 from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
She enjoyed 40-plus years of service with National Cash Register. Her years there saw her in various roles and allowed her to travel across the United States and internationally. Her career also led her to live in several places, including Dayton, Ohio; Little Rock, Arkansas; and St. Louis.
Upon retirement, she chose the tranquil shores of Anna Maria Island and later, Bradenton, where she continued to enjoy the coastal lifestyle.
Her interests ranged from collecting Depression glassware, paperweights and Longaberger baskets to her love for playing cards, especially euchre.
She cherished morning walks on the beach, marking turtle nests, helping preserve local wildlife. She enjoyed volunteering as an election worker and helping at elementary schools with student vaccinations. She also volunteered as a driver for Meals on Wheels.
She was also an avid fan of her Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers.
A memorial visitation will be held 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 604 43rd St. W., Bradenton. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for a later date at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Online condolences may be expressed at brownandsonsfuneral.com.
