Island Gallery and Studios announced a going-out-of-business sale begins Saturday, Feb. 21.
The gallery, 456 12th St. W., moved to the Bradenton location in 2023 after operating as Island Gallery West for three decades in the S&S Plaza at 5368 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach.
Island Gallery West announced back then on its social media, “Downtown Bradenton! We are so excited for new opportunities in this thriving and vibrant part of town.”
In mid-February, Island Gallery and Studios announced a sale of “everything 20% or more off!” on Feb. 21 and Feb. 24-26.
The announcement began, “It is with heavy hearts that we share some sad news. After almost 35 wonderful years in business, Island Gallery and Studios will be closing its doors.”
The announcement ended with a heart and thanks — “Thank you for 35 beautiful years of art, inspiration, and community.”
