Bradenton Beach

        Jan. 24, 2000 block of Gulf Drive South, forged tag. A Bradenton Beach police officer stopped a motorist after observing a vehicle with a counterfeit temporary tag. The driver also was driving with a revoked license.

Holmes Beach

Jan. 21, 500 block of 56th Street, theft. A Holmes Beach police officer responded to reports of theft from a construction site. A construction waorker said he had secured tools inside a closet and then found them missing. He estimated the tools were worth $1,200-$1,500.

Jan. 27, 400 block of 72nd Street, hit-and-run. An officer responded to reports of a hit-and-run traffic incident. He spoke with the complainant, who said he was cleaning pools when a motorist hit his vehicle’s passenger door, resulting in damage. The officer issued a case number.
