Anna Maria
Feb. 21, 100 S. Bay Blvd., marine/fire. An MCSO deputy responded to the Anna Maria City Pier after a caller reported a barrel on a construction barge caught fire. Fire units were dispatched to assist and the situation was investigated. No injuries were reported.
Feb. 21, 877 N. Shore Drive, Rod & Reel Resort, disturbance. A deputy was dispatched to a report that three people had entered a hot tub without permission and began arguing with the complainant when asked where they were staying. The individuals left before the MCSO arrived.

March 3, 2600 block of Gulf Drive, recovered property. An officer located a motorist pinged by the city’s license plate recognition system for using a stolen license plate. The officer conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, who admitted there was drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The officer confiscated the stolen plate and paraphernalia and put them in storage at the HBPD.
