March 4, 200 block of 64th Street, theft. A man entered the HBPD to report that $1,300 worth of equipment was delivered to his property but was missing the next day.

March 4, Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, 4000 Gulf Drive, recovered property. A cafe employee found a bottle containing Klonopin and nitroglycerin.

March 5, Publix Liquors, 505 Manatee Ave., lewd behavior. Officers responded to calls from the store asking for a man to be trespassed. Two complainants said they saw the man fondling himself. Officers arrested a suspect, who displayed signs of impairment. He said he had a medical issue with his genitalia and was not masturbating. An officer transported him to the HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton and then took him to the Manatee County jail.

March 5, The Chateau AMI, 5325 Marina Drive, unpaid bill. Restaurant owners said four customers left without paying a $486.85 bill. They said the party was unruly and disruptive and were asked to leave. An officer contacted one of the customers using the number used to schedule a reservation. He said they wanted to pay the bill, but left when they were told to do so. The officer transported the customer back to the restaurant to pay the bill.

March 8, Waterline Resort and Marina, 5325 Marina Drive, potential fraud. The resort’s operations manager said staff found inconsistencies with recent reservations, where someone was making reservations under one card, canceling the next day, then asking for refunds to different cards. The total amount of deposits made was $29,325.

March 10, 600 block of Manatee Avenue, fraud. A man reported that a false check was created in his name that impacted a credit card account.
