Holmes Beach
April 8, 600 block of Hampshire Lane, assisting EMS. An HBPD officer responded to reports of an injured person and found a juvenile male who said he fell from a golf cart and blacked out. He was transported to HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton.
April 10, 200 block of 66th Street, egging. A renter told the HBPD he found broken raw eggs on a backyard patio. He did not want to be charged with the cleanup and asked for a police report.
April 10, 5200 block of Gulf Drive, arrest warrant. An officer found an “awkwardly parked” vehicle and ran the license plate, which was associated with an active arrest warrant. The officer arrested the driver, who was transported to the county jail.
April 12, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, alcohol. An officer found a person sleeping in the park around 3:38 a.m., after closing hours. The man was cited for an alcoholic beverage and trespassed from the property.
April 12, Waterline Resort, 5325 Marina Drive, harassment. An officer responded to a harassment complaint and met with a tour boat operator and employees, who had received harassing calls due to an altercation April 7 involving a social media influencer and a dock master. The altercation allegedly began when the influencer was asked to cease fishing on private property. The influencer posted the incident on YouTube, which resulted in the harassing calls.
