City pier foundation complete

Tampa Bay Marine employees put the finishing touches May 15 on the foundation of the Anna Maria City Pier’s new 800-foot-long walkway. Mayor Mark Short told The Islander May 15 that the contractor had laid the final concrete slab atop pilings and bents earlier that day.
