Judge Charles Sniffen of the 12th Circuit Court ruled April 24 to find Bradenton nonresident Carol Huber, 66, guilty of a first-degree misdemeanor for driving under the influence and causing property damage.
Huber was arrested Oct. 3, 2025, when she was pulled over by a Bradenton Beach police officer for potential impairment, then reversed into the police vehicle during the traffic stop. The crash caused minor damage but no injuries.
Huber pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charge April 24 and was sentenced to 12 months of probation and must complete 75 hours of public service, DUI school and a victim impact panel. The sentence also includes the suspension of Huber’s driver’s license for six months and the installation of an ignition interlock device in her vehicle for two years.
