Jack Clarke has won the recall election in what is an unofficial count by the supervisor of elections. The count was 182 votes to remove the mayor, versus 174 to retain the mayor. The vote results in winner take all in the contest between Shearon and Jack Clarke — in the event the mayor was recalled. Clarke topped the votes at 185 versus 172. 220 votes were cast at the polls.
