David Alfred Ambrose
David Alfred Ambrose, 65, of Bradenton and formerly of Holmes Beach, died Jan. 27.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated St. Xavier High School and earned a civil engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati.
He moved to Atlanta, where he met his wife of 38 years, Nancy.
His love of cooking and his ease with people eventually led him to a career in the restaurant business and in hospitality management. He used his cooking and science skills to develop and sell hot sauces that were enjoyed by many people.
While in Florida, he changed gears and took a job managing the Westchester condominiums on Longboat Key, retiring in 2023
