• Aug. 11, 200 block of Spring Avenue, bike theft. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a bicycle stolen sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 10 from a back yard.

Bradenton Beach
• Aug. 7, 2400 block of Avenue C, criminal mischief. The Bradenton Beach Police Department responded to a report of criminal mischief. A property owner said someone damaged mailboxes at the location.
• Aug. 7, 1600 block of Gulf Drive North, burglary to vehicle. The BBPD investigated the report of a burglary to a vehicle. About $200 in cash was taken from a wallet hidden under the driver’s seat.
• Aug. 8, 1500 block of Gulf Drive North, grand theft auto. The BBPD arrested Michael Patton of Sarasota, who was found sleeping in a parked Nissan pickup truck. A records check showed the vehicle was reported stolen in Hardee County. The arrested man told an officer that his friend took the truck from the owner but failed to return the vehicle.
• Aug. 11, 100 block of 11th Street South, property damage. The BBPD investigated a report of damage to a privacy fence. The damage was estimated at $100. Police had been called to the residence to deal with noise generated by a party. The fence was damaged when partygoers tried to run from the scene after police arrived. The BBPD also reported underage drinking.

Cortez
• Aug. 6, 10300 block of Cortez Road, indecent exposure. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a resident’s complaint about a naked man running naked through a mobile home park.
Cortez is policed by the MCSO.
Holmes Beach
• Aug. 9, 100 block of 74th Street, found bones. A person brought some bones he found to the MCSO. Crime-scene technicians verified that the bones were not human.
Holmes Beach is policed by the HBPD.

It is about time something was done about the address on 11th. Street S. The drinking has been going on for a long time.The parents should be procucated for contributing to the delinquincy of minors and the teenagers should be punished.
