A 36-year-old Bradenton man who allegedly sped east using all three lanes on Cortez Road West was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped Adam Gomez Nov. 30 at 10100 Cortez Road W.
He determined Gomez smelled strongly of alcohol, had slurred speech, glassy eyes and was slow responding to requests, according to an MCSO probable cause affidavit.
Gomez gave two breath samples, measuring .274 and .273, according to the MCSO report.
He was booked into the Manatee County jail and posted $500 bond.
Gomez’ court arraignment is set for Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee W., Bradenton.
