More than 90 people gather Nov. 11 at the Anna Maria Island Veterans Memorial at Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Drive, in honor of Veterans Day. The annual service is held by The Islander with help from the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe and volunteers from the city of Holmes Beach public works staff, who also are military veterans.
