Jan. 23, 500 block of Spring Avenue, noise. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding a complaint about loud neighbors. The deputy found no violation.

Jan. 24, 100 Spring Avenue, Sandbar Restaurant, animal. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding an animal on the beach. The deputy found a bird with an injured wing. A wildlife rescuer was contacted.
Jan. 24, 100 Spring Ave., Sandbar Restaurant, suspicious person. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding a suspicious person on the beach. The deputy encountered a person walking a dog on the beach, which is not permitted.
Jan. 24, 800 block of North Shore Drive, animal. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding a complaint about a dog on the beach. The deputy found two people walking a dog who said it is a service animal. They also said they would not bring the dog directly on the beach.

Bradenton Beach
Jan. 17, Circle K, 103 S. Gulf Drive, trespass warning. The property owner called the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to request they trespass a man from the store. An MCSO deputy arrived and issued the man a trespass warning.

Holmes Beach
Jan. 22, 3700 block of East Bay Drive, criminal mischief. A person reported to the Holmes Beach Police Department that someone slashed the roof of a convertible vehicle.
Jan. 22, 800 block of Manatee Avenue West, seize tag. An officer on patrol heard loud exhaust from a vehicle and observed the motorist driving 62 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer stopped the driver and determined the person had a suspended license and expired insurance. The tag was seized and the car towed.
Jan. 23, 200 block of North Harbor Drive, noise. An officer was dispatched to a rental for a noise complaint. A decibel reading taken from the road in front of the property indicated excessive noise. The renter was issued a citation.
Jan. 24, Anna Maria Elementary School, 4700 Gulf Drive, trespass warning. A person climbed the fence at the school to play basketball. The officer issued a trespass warning and the individual left the area.
Jan. 24, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, camping. An officer on patrol spotted someone asleep in a trash bag near the north end of the park. The person, a repeat violator, was given a notice to appear and issued a trespass warning. Shortly after, the officer saw the person camping nearby. The individual was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail.
Jan. 25, Publix, 3909 E. Bay Drive, found property. A store manager reported four rings found.
Jan. 25, 100 block of 52nd Street, information. Someone complained about the dumping of dirt and debris on a jobsite. Code compliance was contacted and the HBPD officers took photos.
Jan. 25, 3700 block of East Bay Drive, theft. A person reported an unsecured kayak stolen from a condominium garage.
