Doug Blunt captured wife Angie March 13 as she angled under her camera and adjusted settings for her capture of the moon from the beach. The full blood moon — named for the red tinge caused by a total lunar eclipse — passed into Earth’s shadow in the early morning March 14. This was the first total lunar eclipse since November 2022 and it will be the only lunar eclipse visible from the United States this year.
