Anna Maria candidate spending
Three of the five candidates in Anna Maria seeking one of the three city commission seats up for election Nov. 3 have raised more than $3,500 for their campaign in a city with just 1,400 registered voters.
According to figures available at the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Office as of Sept. 31, the cutoff date for the first candidate reporting period, the following were the amounts of contributions and expenditures of the five candidates.
Gryboski had 51 individual and business contributors combined, while Tollette reported 42 combined contributions.
Stoltzfus had 31 contributions reported by Sept. 31, Quam had 15 contributors and Woodland reported 18.
Candidates must also file campaign contribution and expenditure reports 18 days before the election on Oct. 16, and four days prior to the election on Oct. 31.
The Oct. 16 reports were not available online prior to press deadline.
